It is really sad that she never went out with you. What is worse is you giving up. If she didn't/doesn't want to go out with you, you should try and stay friends with her. If you really truly love her, give her some time, as long as she wants. Maybe she will see your love for her, or maybe not. In the mean time, try and get over that feeling and move on. I am sure you'll find someone you'd feel the same way for and they'd love you back as much, and more.

When i posted this question i didn't have the space or time to finish my question. We dated in 8th grade but she broke up with me for another guy who had asked her out first. I gave up trying to get her back because it seemed pointless, i didn't think i'd get her. I tried to get over her but i never really stopped loving her, no matter how many times i told myself i was over her. Now, I've been in a relationship for 11 months and on Christmas Eve i found out that the girl I've loved for four years has felt the same but never thought i'd take her back because of what she did in 8th grade and because she rejected me two other times. We never realized each other flirting because we were so set on trying to get over each other. So I've been in a relationship for 11 months and I've fallen for this girl, but now i find out that the girl I've loved for four years has loved me too. I don't know what to do.
