Lets see...first things to do would be to see if your iPod is locked. Try looking on the bottom for the little switch. If it is red, you cannot use the iPod. Try turning it the other way to silver instead. If that does not work, try looking at your iTunes account and check to see if your account password has anything to do with it. Next, try looking to see if you have a password to your iPod. I personally have not experienced this problem (prayerfully), so I am not 100% sure if this will work. You might try to contact iTunes and see what they say.

∙ 14y agoPut your ipod touch into DFU(Recovery mode). plug in your ipod touch to the computer then restore(to the previous firmware.) When restoring press Shift+click Restore(on Windows PC)

∙ 14y agoAs long as iTunes will show your iPod on the screen, you can click on "Restore iPod." Yeah, it will completely wipe everything out, an make it act like it just came out of the box, but it's better than having no iPod at all, right?
