I believe that you need the services of an attorney to asssist you to determine your status. You don't say what your felony crime was but if it was serious enough, it may not have been considered a "juvenile" charge and may still appear on your adult record. If you were charged with a felony crime and you pled guilty to that charge then you pled guilty to a felony crime and are now a "convicted felon" regardlss of what age you were or how much jail time you received. Until you know your true legal status you'd better STAY AWAY from firearms of any type or you might unknowingly let yourself in for some serious prison time.
In South Carolina, the third simple possession charge becomes a felony. The first and second charges are misdemeanors.
You can't vote anywhere in the US with a felony charge, period. Check section 2 of the 14th Amendment.

AnswerDepends on what the felony was for...if it was for some type of fraud or embezzlement, forget it. You can contact your state's insurance license department and check if they will let you take the insurance license exam.
There is no monetary fine (like for a traffic ticket) for a weapons charge, you will get a jail sentence.
A charge only should not affect your ability to get a license, unless the charge still stands and has not been acquited or discharged. If you had been convicted, then you would never be able to get a license.
Up to and including Life depending on the specifics of the case.
Most U.S. states prohibit a felon from obtaining an insurance license as well as most other professional licenses.
A 'felony' charge indicates that any prison sentence would be in excess of one year.
