Putting the transmission in "economy" or "power" mode changes the shift points in the transmission. "Economy" loosens the shift points, allowing the vehicle to obtain better gas mileage at the expense of performance. "Power mode" tightens the shift points, making the vehicle shift more quickly providing better performance at the expense of gas mileage.

Hard starting, loss of power, & poor fuel mileage.
Depends on needs. Fuel mileage, power, etc.....
Yes, most definitely.
Loss of power, hard to start, and poor fuel mileage.
No it does not give you better gas mileage, all it does is helps with any loss of horse power and white smoke coming from the tailpipe due to burning antifreeze.
Mine is on the passengers side about half way down the engine compartment. It has a black top with a raised ridge through the middle of it to screw it on and off.
143 lb ft of torque for the 1990 model. 148 lb ft of torque for the 1991-1992. Of the Stanza models, the 1992 is widely considered the closest to a fwd version of the 240sx benefiting in large part by the later refinements to engine/transmission dynamics. As such, these vehicles were highly successful in other counties, where driving conditions warranted that type of power/torque to be directed to the front wheels. Of the 240sx/Silvia and the Stanza/Pintara, the Stanza/Pintara was the more popular and sold in higher numbers when compared on a world platform.
