I had the same problem with my 5.9L and it was the timing chain housing leaking antifreeze. It could also be a freeze plug maybe but that is rare.
Hope this helps
it could be because you have an antifreeze leak and its just steam not smoke
crank/cam sensor max airflow sensor
Provided they haven't been sitting around at room temperature for awhile you should be fine.
if it will run for awhile then die, and start back up after sitting awhile , it's probably a cloged fuel filter.
When mine was doing that, it was the ignition module. Does it start back up after sitting for awhile?
Dirty carborator. If its been sitting for awhile the carborator collects dust and other crap in there and clogs it up.
What happens after a transmission starts smoking, depends on what causes it to smoke. It could run for awhile, and just need new seals, or it could seize up and die.
Yes Sitting Bull - Tatanka- Iyotankaddid he travelled to England and throughout europe with Buffalo Bill';swild west show . He also travelled up into Canada for awhile after theLittle Big Horn.
The best transmission treatment is a fresh filter and fluid change.. Next best thing to that, especially if experencing shift problems and you are low on cash for repairs/maintenance would be a mid-priced transmission seal conditioner that isn't thick like molasses. Whith that said, if its leaking bad and your tranny is on its last legs, then use the thick red goo (Lucas), it will work for awhile (depends on how badly your tranny is). The thinner treatments tend to be more acceptiable amongst mechanics (one small bottle), any more can do harm.
next time your sitting alone in the truck check once and awhile the heater off your joint!Dont let it canoe!,sure FIRE way to not have a truck in the morning!!
Easyer to just disconnect battery for the time the car is sitting up.
oil can be leaking from higher up on engine. u just need to clean engine, then after running for awhile, look for leak, be aware that oil on engine can be blown back over engine by the fan, so some hard looking may be what it takes to find the problem
