You have a 1995 Saturn sl1 it has gotten to the point were your battery light came on your steering wheel want hardly turn and your belt keeps popping off you think the belt tensioner is broke help?

Search this forum for a post asking how to replace the belt tensioner, it will detail the process. It is only a couple of bolts that hold it on, but you will have to work through the passenger wheel well to gain access. Good luck

There is no fluid on the 2004. They operate on electric power steering. you need to replace the two fuses on top of the battery that control your power steering. your owners manual will show you which ones are the right ones.

This happened to me as well. Don't forget to re-charge the battery as well. Since the belt broke you probably can assume that the alternator stopped charging the battery at least for a moment.
