if you dont have an answer yet i have a 93 cav z-24 and it did the same thing and it was the overdrive switches very easy to replace on the left side of the trans just remove one cover and a couple bolts i believe i gave about $50.00 for the part. good luck
the car is not in park the stering wheel maybe in a bind, shake the wheel and try again
it sounds like a vacuum line problem.you will need to get a diagram of your vacuum lines, usually under the somewhere,or in the manual.as you fix all the vacuum problems the car will probably run alot better.
i have dash light problems also and my easy fix is just hitting the dash . the lights all work again after i do!
best answer is take it to a brake shop it's not something that should put your life on the line for. but if you have to do it you will need a Chevy brake tool or an Allen wrench to remove the calipers then its simple to switch out pads. drums again I recomend a shop.
it may be the o2 scensor
Turn the key off and the light resets. If it comes back on (except for bulb-test), that means a problem has already been detected again and needs to be repaired.
If you're not mechanicaly inclined it's not a very good idea to try it yourself. Any how. it takes about an hour or so give or take, but then again that's me doing it.
with the truck running, put it in neutral then shift the four wheel drive lever into either 4hi or 4lo you should be able to hear it go in if it grinds wait for the engine to idle down then try again. make sure the truck is in neutral
Dealer was just under $300 but broke again in 10 months; next repair down the street was just under $600 - 1999 Z24 conv
Your question does not quite make sense. Neutral is an adjective, it modifies some noun. So, you could ask if baking flour has a neutral flavor (it does) or if it is electrically neutral (yes again) or if it is politically neutral (not really; inanimate objects are incapable of either partisanship or neutrality). Or perhaps you are enquiring about its pH level, which again is neutral.
Please ask this question again specifying the year of cavalier and the engine. Also, are there words that seem to make it stutter more than other words? Do you have one of these engines? 2.8L 2.5L 2.2L OHV 2.2L Ecotec 2.2L Quad4 SOHC 2.4L Quad4 DOHC Have you had a tune-up lately?
Did u try to change the fuel filter or leave the gas cover off and see if that helps. On my 1990 Z-24, it was the crankshaft sensor.
