the injectors are not getting an "impulse" from the ecm telling them to open. did the ecm get wet? if not check for bare/chaffed wires in the engine compartment that run to the injectors. one or more of these wires could have a bare spot on them and when they got wet, the wires could have "shorted out" and will not send the impulse signal to the injectors from the ecm.
The clicking sound is your a/c unit trying to engage. I would have freon pressure checked first, if not, a/c unit may be bad
required pressure was built up
check oil and oil pressure if good sell it
oil filter might be clogged or your oil sending unit might be weak
The 93 Caprice could be losing fuel pressure. Check the fuel filter and the pressure to see if the pump could be bad.
In this context, "press" means to apply pressure to the button, either by pushing it or clicking it depending on the type of button.
Disconnect positive battery cable for three minutes - this should reset the entire computer or E.C.M.
It could be hydraulic lifters that have collapsed overnight and need a little oil pressure to get them working properly again. If that's all it is, don't worry.
It makes that sound until the oil pressure builds and can lubricate the tappets or valves. shouldn't be a problem.
The clicking is caused by vertebrae moving around. It alsoreveals exactly how much muscular tension there is. Boneshave no physical means to move themselves; the only way abone moves is if a muscle moves it. Each of your vertebraehas upwards of 36 muscles attached to it that act like guidewires. If muscle tone on each side of a vertebrae ( or anyother bone/joint) is equal then the bone rests in normal position. However, if tension is increased unilaterally then the bone ispulled out of normal position. That clicking and poppingyou here when pressure is applied to your back is thevertebrae being moved to normal position (hopefully!).
Low oil pressure. Stop driving this car or you will do serious damage. Your oil pump may be bad. Have this looked at by a pro.
Firstly check if your tank still has pressure. Secondly if it uses batteries, check that they are full. If that does not work, completely disassemble and clean and re-lubricate your gun. Then take it to a shop if this continues.
