They are the same as the EJ22 4 cylinder pistons. They can be purchased from numerous aftermarket resellers if you want forged pistons. Cast pistons would be from the dealer, if even still available.
THE BLOCK CASTING NUMBER IS BEHIND THE CYL. HEAD. SORRY CAN'T REMEMBER WHICH HEAD. IT USUALLY IS A RAISED SEVEN DIGIT NUMBER. THE CYL. HEAD CASTING NUMBER REQUIRES REMOVING THE VALVE COVER AND CHECKING THE RAISED CASTING NUMBER ON TOP OF THE HEAD. YOU CAN CALL A DEALER OR A ENGINE REBUILDING SHOP AND GIVE THEM THE NUMBERS. THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU THE YEARS THAT CORRESPON TO THE CASTING NUMBERS.
I would start by calling the dealer.
It is possible.It is possible.
Legal Transfers LLC is a legit dealer.
You will probably have to go to the dealer. Stihl will not share Manuals or parts list with anyone but the dealer. You pay a lot for a Stihl and you continue paying as parts are not interchangeable with anything else.
The ID# is stamped on a pad at the front of the block, near the passenger side head. You can write the number down and look for it at Mortec.com. Most Chevrolet engines are listed there. there is a casting number on the block, usually on the side. the casting no. can tell you where ,and when the block was made. you might have to look the no. up in a Chevy casting no. book, or your Chevy dealer might be able to look it up on the computer,if they are willing to spend the time. the casting no. and the ID no. that the above answer talks of are not the same, although they can both give you the info. you want.
If you know anyone who collects coins or a coin dealer, sell it to them. If you cant find anyone, try auctioning off or selling on ebay.
