The problem may be with your starter and not with the clutch.
Either your starter solenoid, if not check the neutral safety or clutch safety switch.
I have a 1996 ford escort that will not start and it has a new starter on it and a new battery in it but it still will not start
I had same problem so I changed clutch, no diference. found the plate the clutch pedal conects to had pulled away from bulkhead. rewelded to bulkhead and clutch was fine.
It shouldn't be
Check your alternator and your connections form the battery to the Starter. You may just have a bad connection If that does not work, your solenoid on your starter has gone bad, a new solenoid or starter may be needed. Check the start switch on the clutch pedal if so equiped.
If the high beams will not work on a 1997 Escort even after the relay was changed, it is possible that the bulbs are burned out. It is rare, but it does happen that both bulbs will burn out at the same time.
I just changed my last year along with the clutch too. I was about $1000. Well worth it because I still don't have a car payment. I went to the junk yard and got a low mileage engine. So far so good and it's been a year. Good luck.

With a little practice you can start a vehicle in 1st gear and shift gears without the use of a clutch. This would be only to get you safely home or to a garage.
I'm assuming you mean why does the clutch still engage at a high point after replacement; When you replace your clutch it is normally due to it being burnt out from overheating or from extensive wear of the flywheel. Long travel in the clutch pedal is caused by extensive wear on the flywheel, so if it was replaced due to being burnt out, replacement will not alter the travel (the distance between plates has not changed). Either that or the mechanic who replaced it did not properly adjust it.
It depends on what quad you are riding. If you are riding a honda(2005 and under) you must first hold the clutch and then kick start it. After that first gear is down and the rest are up. Remember you must hold the clutch when switching gears. Same goes for other quads except the part where you kick start it but you must still hold the clutch kick start
if you didnt hold cam gears in place when taking off the timing belt more than likely its out of time this happened to me on a 99 and im still trying to figure out how to time it?
