I have 8 goldfish and I believe you should not have a mix of those two fish breeds because they like different water temps., food, and other things. I believe you shouldn't get another goldfish.
I think you should get another fish because i have heard that they are alot like people and if your friend died than you would want anohter one RIGHT????? soo get that little fishy a new best friend
Goldfish are peacefull fish and do not normally fight with one another.
My two goldfish were in a tanktogether and mysteriously one died.i blame the other one named nemo.it killed dorie
no they wont fight its actually a good idea to get another fish fast as ur fish will feel ill coz of the sudden absence of another.. goldfish are not known for eating one another.no.
Once a week :))))) i have experience
NO!
One goldfish chasing (or in this case biting) another fishes rear is how goldfish flirt, however this could also be a display of aggression towards the other fish.
They could be mating or just trying to play with eachother.
Yes, as long as your tank is big enough for 3 goldfish. It should be at least 35 to 40 gallons in size even when your goldfish are babies.
They definitely need a air pump, a filter, at least 20 gallons of water for one goldfish, a thermometer, and decorations to improve the goldfish's well-being/mood.
Goldfish cannot live in bowls. Fancy goldfish need at least 20 gallons for the first fish, and 10 gallons minimum for any additional goldfish. This means that for two goldfish, the smallest tank you should have is 30 gallons.
That is up to you. Remember however that all the fancy goldfish can crossbreed with one another. If you are going to be buying/keeping expensive fancy goldfish then you would most probably not want to cross breed them and thereby loose the value of the fry.
