Just what I've been trying to do with my Melba! I found a website that dates registration numbers of designs. I know this works for pottery, not sure about china but the numbers on my Melba seem to fit in. Mine reads 778351 so according to http://www.thepotteries.org/mark/reg.htm this is 1932. Have a look! You were kind enough to say "even if your wrong"! So Thanks, I got the courage to answer my small bit!
I have a cup and saucer made by melba bone china, it is a flower pattern around edges, and a mint color also, on bottom it has 4 green dots and in green it has A230 . how can I find out about this.
The value for a Melba bone china teacup bought in the 1950's would actually depend on a number of things. Some of these things would be, the exact date and the condition of the teacup.
