It could be a number of things, a clogged radiator,bad thermostat,low coolant, hoses leaking coolant, radiator fan not working,or a leaking head gasket. Hope this helps you.
try taking out the thermostat and have you put to much oil and coolant in the radiator

If your radiator isnt leaking and car is having a over heating problem and coolant spewing out. Chances are your thermostat needs replaced. possible the radiator needs to be flushed. But more likley its thermostat
It could be the radiator, the hoses, a leaking coolant tank or the water pump.
If it is leaking coolant. And you changed the thermostat. I would then move to this section. Flush the radiator and the heater core. This can be done at a certified shop with a reliable mechanic.

If coolant is leaking from a car it means that your radiator has a hole in it. If this is not fixed the car will over heat.
Check radiator hose, leaking water pump, look for hole in radiator, leaking coolant bottle or leaking seals.
