Well in my experience I have had that happened and I'll tell you what I did....I went and started flirting with his best friend. He liked me and I knew it so I went for it. It made him jealous and I got revenge . I did hurt the other guy though so you have to be careful to not mix feelings.... ANSWER Of course you are still going to have feelings for him but you have ended your relationship. Be the better person and let it go. Who he flirts with is his business, not yours. Did YOU break up with HIM? If so, then he may be using your best friend to try to 'get back at you' and make you jealous. Sometimes, when you break up with someone, if they still love you, they will try different tactics to get you back. But flirting with your best friend so soon after the break-up is in poor taste. But, if HE broke up with YOU, then he may be flirting with your best friend to try to convince you that it's over. But again, using your best friend is not a good thing. You need to tell your friend how you feel, but don't do it in an angry or accusing manner. Simply explain to her that you still love him, and it hurts you for them to flirt with each other. Also, as the answer above states, since you and he are no longer together, he is free to flirt with whom he chooses. It's just in really poor taste for him to go after your best friend.
