If you are a US Citizen and are not traveling via a foreign country then you do not need a passport.
Puerto Rico is a territory of the USA.

∙ 13y agoI think is better to use your passport...As a non US citizent you need to be sure you may not have any problems...In PR you can use your driver license for 90 days to drive around...
