Check the fuses, remote wire, and power wire first of all. If that doesn't work you might have wires loose somewhere.
the black wire or yellow wire are not connected right
Check the Fuse in the Fuse Box... I had a similar problem, later realsied the fuse getting blown-off because that I had installed an after market cigarette lighter. that's too much load on my fuse ...
The AUX jack can vary but it is usually next to a power point. Most cars have two power points, one under the stereo or in the center console.
The headlights turn off because you have accidently hooked the stereo's power wire onto the headlight relay wire. When you turn on the stereo, there's not enough power left to run the headlight relay. Thus, no headlights. Re-wire the stereo.
The stereo system is secured with a password so that if it is stolen, it can't be used. When you change your battery, power to the stereo is disconnected so it behaves as though it has been removed. once you enter the password, the stero will function again.
Check that the radio fuse didn't blow and that you are getting power from a 12 volt sourse.
if its a factory radio, then the fuse box... if it's an add on radio, you'll have to trace the power wire to the fuse box or battery d
did this a couple months ago on a 93. first, is the unit itself getting power? then make sure the FM antenna plug that was plugged into the pioneer has a solid connection, if it doesnt solder it together or take it to a pro. my connector actually broke and took it to an audio pplace and they fixed it in 20mins. Are you saying that the power antenna doesnt go up? Or that you dont get reception? If it was a power antenna there was another adapter you needed to buy for like $15 when you installed your stereo... if you didnt get it, your antenna isn't going to work.. If your saying you dont get reception, then I don't know what to tell you...
I spliced mine in to the power wire on my raido. now if you had in installed go back and have them fix it.
Some headunits share a power antenna & remote wire are the same wire. If it is hooked up to power antenna and not hooked up to factory amp there is no signal to tell amp to power up
Some cars are equiped with factory amps.If the amp is bad then it will not let sound come through.try running a wire from the stereo strait to one of the speakers.
You need to check where you tied into power, I'm guessing you didn't use the original stereo wiring harness. Also check for a main fuse in the engine compartment.
