HAYWARD HAS CHEAP IMPELLERS . THE DO HAVE A NEW ONE WITH BRASS SHAFT THREADS..OR YOU MIGHT HAVE LFT SOME PARTS OUT LIKE THE DEFUSER OR IT RING OR ITS GOT A BAD SHAFT SEAL.. YOU MUST PRIME THESE PUMPS BEFORE YOU START THEM. YOU CAN SMOKE A SHAFT SEAL IN SECONDS WITH NO WATER ON IT ..3600 RPM
