You hurt your boyfriend and men of all ages hurt the same as if a man broke up with a woman. He may well be on the rebound or, he's angry and is simply getting on with his life. Since you felt the need to break up with him then you shouldn't be worried that he is on the rebound. Sometimes the 'grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence.' This simply means that one should ponder over the reasons they feel they should break up with the one they thought they loved and once a break up occurs the other person often moves forward in their lives and this seems to be the case with your ex boyfriend.
