Ok, I'm in the same perdiciment except I'm a girl. My parents won't let me date until I'm sixteen either. The guy I like is my best friend except I've been out with him before and he dumped me for another girl. But then again he's been out with my best friend too. I still like him though. You should listen to your parents cause when I bring up the subject to my mom she tells me to drop it. So just listen to them.
