Talk to your best friend about it, it may seem hard but I am sure you have talked with them about worse stuff. If yall are really friends it wont come between you just make sure you talk about it because if you dont that will make it akward- other than that I say go for it! and good luck

Tell your girlfriend you need to see other people but you can still date (if you still like her) and then date other people including her best friend. If you later discover you didn't like her friend as much as you thought than you and your girlfriend can get back together. If you decide you want to get with her friend, because you both would have been dating other people maybe it will be easier for her to accept and she will find someone new
You might as well hang it up because a true best friend is not going to date you because you are off limits. But if the best friend is easy like that then it might work -sky08

Yeah I have a similar problem to that. You need to decide who you love more, your girlfriend or your girlfriends best friend. It's your choice what you do, but if I'm honest, if I were you, I'd stay with your girlfriend, and tell her best friend that you love your girlfriend, because it's not worth it to dump her for her best friend. It's not a nice thing to do either :)
