: Hello, I assume from your question that your fusible link melted? I work on JOHN DEERe lawn and garden equipment for a living. I need more information as to when this happened to answer your question (i.e. you were mowing and it stopped, etc..). You said that you replaced the main wiring harness and solenoid and it still won't start. If your fusible link melted the main wiring harness does not include the headlight wiring harness and alternator (or stator) which could melt this as well if shorted. Joe
Faulty torque converter clutch solenoid valve Torque converter clutch solenoid valve harness is open or shorted Torque converter clutch solenoid valve circuit poor electrical connection Low transmission fluid level Dirty transmission fluid Could be a problem with the harness to the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) solenoid, the TCC solenoid connector or the TCC solenoid it self.
Code 83 is TCC (Torque Converter Clutch) solenoid circuit failure. The wiring or the solenoid may be open or shorted. If shorted, the quad driver (part of the transmission computer that controls the solenoid) may be damaged. Module and solenoid may need to be replaced together...watch out for it. Don't toast a module with the old solenoid. Replace the solenoid first. (If wiring is ok) Then module, if code 83 comes back after clearing.
replace the solenoid ,is shorted.
P0722 - No signal from Output Shaft Speed Sensor . The output shaft speed sensor failed to provide a signal to the PCM upon initial movement of the vehicle (damaged OSS connector / damaged OSS sensor , or not installed properly / Harness intermittently shorted or open ) P0723 - Output Shaft Speed Sensor circuit intermittent failure . The Output Shaft Speed Sensor signal to the PCM is irregular or interrupted ( Harness connector not properly seated / harness intermittently shorted , or open / harness connector damaged / OSS sensor damaged , or not installed properly - verify harness and connector integrity - verify OSS sensor proper installation )
check to see if the wiring harness for the vehicle has been replaced (they were bad from the factory) it could have possibly shorted out the throttle actuator (the big carburetor looking thing) this will cause the asr light to come on
Possible causes,- Faulty battery- Alternator belt missing or loose- Faulty Alternator- Alternator harness is open or shorted- Alternator circuit poor electrical connection
There is an overcurrent situation in the circuit, could be a wire shorted to ground.
transmission control module (TCM). it can make the solenoid pack inside the transmission stop working(it can burn out the solenoids) if it got messed up. i had this problem with my sebring. i replaced the transmission 4 times, paid 2 times... found out later on my own that i shorted out my TCM and that was the cause.
it no longer rectifies the current it is either open or shorted must be replaced
There is a strong possibility that SOMETHING is connected wrong or shorted to ground. If I remember right there is a harness under the seat that gets chaffed, and causes the short. Not to say this is the case for sure. But a spot to check.
P0400 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Malfunction Possible causes - Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) solenoid valve harness is open or shorted - Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) solenoid valve circuit poor electrical connection - Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) volume control valve stuck closed - Faulty Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) volume control solenoid valve - Dead (Weak) battery - Faulty EGR temperature sensor and circuit - Faulty EGR Valve
Code 37 means An open or shorted condition detected in the torque convertor clutch solenoid circuit
