Simple job. You should have coil on plug, just un plug, take off the coil, and put the new one on. If you have the coil pack , just remove and put the new one on.
needs new heater coil.

Try The Relay On the Pass side under the hood.. it fixed mine
The coil fits in the coil bracket, which is normally on the fan shroud. Take the old coil off the car and set it down with the wiring pointed up. You will see two bolts coming out of the coil, one with a + and one with a -. The + bolt should have a metal piece with a place to hook three push-on connectors; the - bolt should have a metal piece you can hook two push-on connectors to. So the drill is, move all the wiring that's on the + side from the old coil to the new one, move all the wiring from the - side of the old coil to the - side of the new one, move the center wire from old coil to new, put the coil bracket on the new coil, bolt the coil onto the fan shroud and you're done. It'll take ten minutes at most.
check the connection to the coil to the battery and check your distributor
To replace the ignition coil: Unplug the wires from the coil, take note of how they come out so you can put them back. Unbolt the bracket from the intake manifold. The original coil is riveted to the mounting bracket, the new coil usually comes without the mounting bracket. Next cut the rivets off that hold the old coil to the mounting bracket. The new coil normally comes with bolts to hold it to the old bracket. Install the new coil to the mounting bracket then mount the bracket to the intake manifold. Plug the wires back in.
If your car has the V6 engine the ignition coil is mounted to the intake manifold next to the distributor. First unplug the wires from the coil. Take note of which way they come out so you can put them back. Then take out the bolts that hold the coil in place on the intake manifold. The factory original coil is riveted to the mounting bracket, new coils come without the mounting bracket. You will need to take the rivets out to remove the old coil from the bracket. The new coil come with screws to mount the coil to the bracket Once the coil is mounted to the bracket then put the bracket back on the intake manifold. Plug the wires back in, that should do it.
