You will need to connect the cars dataport to a diagnostic computer. You can usually use a normal laptop with some software from the net and a datacable connected to the cars ECU serial port. Then asses the sensor logs from the ECU, this will give you any error codes that are showing. Once you have an error code or a particular failure series from the diagnostic machine you should be able to diagnose your problem.
The only function of the crankshaft position sensor is to tell you you have a miss fire ( a spark plug did not fire))
i too had the same problem with my L300. after about a year of this problem i replaced the crankshaft position sensor...it was extremely easy to do myself. the car has not acted up since. hope this helps.
You may need to replace the crankshaft position sensor. Not sure about the '94 but I have a 2000 that had this same problem. Replaced the sensor and the problem was solved.
Since you've replaced everything else associated with the ignition, try replacing the crankshaft position sensor. I'd bet that's your problem.

The p0320m is a crankshaft position malfunction. The sensor could be bad, it could be a wiring issue, or a distributor problem.
I had the same problem with a 1992 Park Avenue with the 3800 engine. I first replaced the electronic ignition but that did not fix the problem. I then replaced the crankshaft heat sensor. That fixed my problem.
DTC P0340 is a camshaft position sensor or circuit problem.

I am having the same problem with my 93 jeep cherokee. it can hardly get out of its own way! i just recently rebuilt my motor and transmission. i replaced the cps ( crankshaft position sensor) and it made a noticeable difference, but still hasn't fixed the problem completely! I need help!
