Follow the directions on the bottle. If in doubt, talk to your doctor. Tylenol is acetaminophen and can cause liver damage if you combine it with other acetaminophen products (and exceed daily recommended limits). This includes cough syrup, etc. Read all labels carefully. yes, there aren't any interactions. both are pain relievers but they work in different ways.

it depends on how strong your heart and kidney's are. if u have had heart surgery or have had a kidney removed u might not want to risk it but if u area healthy peron and can handle it then u should be fine.

Should you take advil or Tylenol for a cut tongue?

well the tongue heals the quickest on the human body, it depends on how severe the cut is though to determine weather or not it needs medicine. if severe enough Advil doesn't make you as drowsy as Tylenol and it depends on the amount. the avg mg per Advil tablet is 200mg but to get some actual relief you need 400mg (2 tablets)

Can you take 3 Advil and 2 Benadryl together?

It depends on your body type. Some people can handle it and some cant. I once took 2 benadryl and after 3-4 hours took 2 advil and 1 dayquill and I had abdominal pain on the right side below my chest... It basically puts your liver through strain because of toxins that your liver cant handle.

Can you take 2 advil then three hours later take 800mg ibuprofen?

Tylenol is acetaminophen, and Motrin is an ibuprofen. They can be taken together, I am a nurse and have done it many times myself, and for my patients. Just make sure you are giving the appropriate doses of both medications, and then yes, they can be given at the same time.

Can you take advil if you took Tylenol 3 6 hours ago?

I was a medical Assistant for several years and I am a mother of 3 and grandmother of 2 and have spent much time at the doctors office due to various reasons including ear infections, coughs and colds, strep throat etc... and my children are now adults and obviously I still "care for" them when they are ill (they'll always be my babies :) On numerous occasions we have been instructed to alternate ibuprofen and Tylenol at the same time.....taking the ibuprofen every 6 hours and the Tylenol (even T3's) every 4 hours. This is safe because, although both medicines are pain relievers, they each contain a different medication that works in a different way. I hope this helps.
