Sometimes that happens because iTunes does not completely close. To end the process if you've closed it and the music is still playing, you have to end it from the task manager. To do this, bring up the task manager by hitting CTRL+SHIFT+ESC, click on the Processes tab on the top, find the iTunes.exe process and right click on it, then left click on 'End Process.'

Just because the music is in your itunes library, does not mean its on your iPod. Itunes is like a CD case, you still have to put the CD in your player. And is the music format right? So u have convert the music first. Find a program to help u .
If you still have iTunes you should still have your music in it. So you can just put all the music on.OR if you made a playlist you should still have it in iTunes unless you deleted it.Just do what you did with the old one.
