There could be an electrical problem stopping the trunk from shutting all the way. The solenoid that closes the trunk could be weak or out of adjustment.

The door switches may need adjustment, or they might be broken. A short in the wiring somewhere might also be causing the problem.
this is an adjustment that determine how close the objective lens can get to the slide.
Accomodation
Yes, but only to do the most basic focusing. Keep in mind that you can break your slide if you move too close with the coarse adjustment knob and any focusing close to the slide should be done with the fine adjustment knobs. (taught HS Chemistry). Hope that helps!
pull the handle
I believe the 2003 V6 came with a four speed AT and somewhere in the 2004 model,Toyota began using a five speed AT. I have a 2004. Have never looked close at a 2003 but doubt if there is much difference.Toyota and Honda [at least my experience]fix problems in a timely matter. And speaking of fixing or not fixing. I have driven my 2004 for six years now and have never had a problem with unintended acceleration and don't expect to have a problem.
