I would check to see if your heater core is plugged. I recently had the same problem and I flushed the heater core with fresh water from both inlet and outlet hoses(I used a garden hose with one of those nozzles that you can change the water pattern and set it on full). That fixed the problem for me.
Whats the problem? Blows cold air with the heat settings on?
Try getting it recharged.
When my a/c system is low on refrigerant, it blows hot on drivers side, cold on passenger side of the dashboard. This is a 1997 Buick Ultra. Recharging the system solves the problem.
Does the blower work? If not the problem is likely the fuse or a failed blower motor. If it works but blows cold air you probably have a broken engine coolant thermostat. Have you checked your coolant level?
heat works in back not in front front blows hot for a few mins then cold
can you please clarify what you mean, do you mean that the front heater blows cold but the rear blows hot or do you mean that when the heating is on cold it blows hot? many thanks paul
sounds like there is short in the flux condenser that senses the pressure change in the differing temperatures KansasCity Computers
I have changed heater core and did no good same problem as before it blows only cold air I do not understand it
your thermostat is most likely stuck open. replace it ,,before ol' man winter comes!
If the air conditioning pump in the 1993 Chevy Z24 blows perfectly, but won't get cold, it is possible that the Freon needs to be recharged in the air conditioning unit. This can usually be done for about $40 by the consumer.
Cold receptors would be activated, maybe causing you to shiver.
The blower is common to hot and cold air. If it is only cold air that is a problem, then the problem is not the blower motor. The blower motor is actually in the engine compartment, passenger side at the firewall.
