I just paid 1800.00 for a rebuilt tranny for my 2000 windstar. I paid $1600 for a complete overhaul after my 2001 Windstar stopped moving (except downhill and a push).

To turn on the highbeams of a 1998 Ford Windstar, bring your lever that controls the wipers toward you and release that turns the highbeams on. To turn off highbeams just push the lever towards the dash.
Do you mean they dim when you push on the gas? If yes then try having the alternator and/or battery checked. Normally the battery should be between 13 and 14.5 volts when running.

You push the little button under the T-handle on the shifter, driver's side.
It is very simple. In the center of the holder when is pulled out as far as it will go, use a srewdriver blade to push down the tab. The cup holder will now pull out.
It could be that the door lock actuator isn't working.If you hear the door opening mechanism cycle when you push the button, I would be very suspect of the actuator.See "Related Questions" below for more

the bottom of it flips forward. the backs of them will fold down if you push the buttons on top of them
