jack up the tire where the sound comes from. shake the tire around side to side and top to bottom. If it moves in all directions it could be the wheel bearing. It don't have to move much to show a problem. good parts won't let it move at all!

The wheel bearing is located in the Hub Assembly. It provides a reduced friction environment, making the wheel turn easier. Jack your car up then take off your tire. there should be a large nut in the center of the hub that is your wheeling bearing nut. there is also a bearing on the back side that you must remove the brake caliper to get to.
Your pads or discs are worn. The brakes will fail soon if not replaced.
The proper and most reliable way of making that repair would be to replace the oil pan.
