2004 polaris sportsman 400 has new starter, battery and selenoid but still won't start what else can it be
Your battery light comes on because you have an electrical problem. It may be in a switch, a relay, a sensor, or the fans. Since you have to ask, you should have a mechanic check it out.
Sounds like a dead battery. Try charging the battery, then start.
My poolaris sportsman 600 was running, battery ligfht was flashing and when I turned it off it wouldn start again I put new battery in it yedterday, have powEr to lights and wench but won't start any answers?
i had the same exact problem with my 2001 polaris sportsman 400. It is either your voltage regulator or your stator. With your ATV running disconnect the positive terminal on your battery. IF the ATV quits instantly then its probably your stator.
Have you plugged in the little red wrist strap key? this is an electrical shutdown.
clutch doesn't need to be removed. disconnect battery, remove hot electrical wire. remove 2 10 mm bolts and remove starter. might have to tap it to loosen up. reassemble. if necessary sand hole where starter goes into housing and coat with grease. tap if necessary.
im new in ATV a need to install a battery in a polaris scrambler , i have no idea in how to install, help!!!!
Yes, battery is a electrical source.
The battery is underneath the driver's seat.
check silenoid at other end of + cable for loose connections ,To check silenoid connect the 2 connectors together w/ screwdriver & it should start ....If this doesn't work check connection at the starter, starter could be bad.....
Check kill switch and ignition switch for power.
