Check your fuel pressure, fuel filter, vacuum lines for leaks, alternator charge, of course the ignition pack. Check those and see if anything isn't right.
Please answer the question. "How do you change an oxygen sensor in a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville
I had a problem with stalling with a 2000 Impala, and it was the oxygen sensor.
Typically the O2 sensor is located at the back of the engine, follow the exhaust manifold and it should be attached somewhere near it
where is a knock sensor located on a 96 Pontiac Bonneville
There are two oxygen sensors, there is one located in the exhaust system before the catalytic converter and one after the catalytic converter.
start at the exhaust manifold and follow the pipe or if it has dual exhaust follow both, you will see it.
Rear of engine follow exhaust manifold at rear of motor(closest to firewall) you will see oxygen sensor there.Simple to remove(1 only on this motor)
Try looking at the back of the engine on the maifold just before it connects to the exhaust pipe.
where is a map sensor loction for 1994 ponatic bonneville?
unclip the old one, unscrew it. then screw in the new one and clip the new one on
bad idle and chec engine light comes on. this can be checked with and obd 1 code reader
Changing an oxygen sensor is awkward, not necessarily difficult. The answer really depends on your skill level so without knowing that my answer is meaningless. Auto parts stores lend a socket set for changing oxygen sensors and they do help some. Good luck! --Ken
