The check engine and other dash warning lights can be reset by disconnecting the vehicles battery for more then 5 minutes. If warning light continues after reconnecting battery then there is still a problem.
Will it turn over? if yes then check for spark and fuel
If the engine isn't running, the battery is low. If the engine is running, the alternator probably has a problem. If you are wearing dark sunglasses, remove them and the lights will get brighter. good luck!
The oil and battery lights might be showing on your shogun when driving due to an electrical problem. A mechanic can properly diagnose the problem.

did your old battery die because the alternator has a fault? if so your new battery may be flat, check cranking voltage at the battery if you can. if you don't have a volt meter see what happens if you turn on the head lights, stereo, heater fan etc at the same time, are the lights bright (battery ok) or dull (battery flat) other possibilities are a bad wiring connection, bad engine earth connection or faulty starter.
The ABS light indicates a problem with the anti-lock brake system, the airbag light is a problem within the airbag system and needs to be checked as soon as possible, the engine light is a malfunction with the engine after start up, the battery light shows the battery is no longer being charged, the EPC light is a fault in the engine. There are also some other lights that are self explanatory, and can be found in your car's manual.
I have that problem check the water level of your battery, i find if i top up battery water, the flashing stops.
