Depending on year of vehicle - may have a separate turn signal flasher that may be defective
4 way flashers and turn signals both have a "flasher can" in the system to make the lights flash the turn signal and 4 way flashers are controlled independantly of each other try replacing the flasher can for the 4 way flashers it is obvious that the bulbs are ok because they work on turn signals
either a bulb or the signal flasher relay located on the fuse panel usually opposite the hazard flasher relay
Of course they will flash until the battery runs down. So the time depends on how good the battery is. I have personally seen them flash for 6 hours straight.
Check out the "Related Question" below for lots of information about malfunctioning flashers on Taurus - Sables. It's not as bad as you might think...
NORMALLY this mean a bulb is out, but it can mean your flasher isn't the correct one. Some cheap heavy-duty flashers for towing will do this.
All cars must have emergency flashers to be sold for use on public roads. so yes it will have them. There may also be other wraning lights like oil or water heats. The Honda Accord, like any vehicle, does have an emergency flashing light system. You can be assured that in the event of an emergency or a breakdown, that you will have emergency lights to flash.
I can think of two things you should probably check. The first is the flasher relay, sorry I'm not sure where it is located for your vehicle (the security system probably sends its own brief 'pulse' to activate the lamps during security system arming, while the turn signals and emergency flashers require a flasher relay for prolonged on-off regulation of the lamps). The other might be a faulty dash wire (The security system signal probably gets sent directly through an electronic module, bypassing the manual circuitry of the interior turn signal lever and emergency switch). There are several manuals published for the Sienna that have the fuse/relay locations and wiring diagrams.
Hi Four way flashers ( Hazard Flashers ) are so called purely because they flash both front and rear of the vehicle. They operate on all four corners of the vehicle. that's my understanding of 4 Way Flashers.
It depends on the car. Some cars require that you turn on the turn signals to make the 4-way flasher work. If that's the case with your vehicle, make sure the emergency flashers aren't on. Otherwise, it's probably a problem with the turn signal switch.
This usually happens when you have bulbs burned out. Check those first. If they are fine, then you probably need to change the turn signal flasher. If this is a rear wheel drive Cutlass, it has two flasher units. The one mounted in the fuse box is for the emergency flashers. The one for the turn signals is mounted just under the dash next to the steering column. Mine was on the right side of the column.

If the turn signals flash quickly, its because a bulb is out. Have you tried replacing the bulbs? Have you verified the replacement bulbs are indeed good? Sounds like a bulb or two may be out. The flasher depends on the bulb's current to set the flashing rate. If a bulb is out (or disconnected for some reason) the flasher usually will flash quickly or not at all.
