Actually the seats will fit inside the camaro but you wont have any seat belts. The seat belts in a coupe are mounted in the roof and the seat belts in a convertible are mounted on the sides of the seats. so the seat will fit but you will have to buy some seat belts or use your old ones. The back seats should have no problems tho. I have a 2002 Camaro.
Does airbag deployment lock ignitions?
the inertia switch locks the ignition. this can occur without the airbags being deployed. if your car wont start it is a good possibility that the inertia switch has locked the ignition. the switch is usually located on the passenger side of the vehicle behind the kick panel on the right side

Yes anything can be done. I believe that the full bench seat equipped trucks wont have the center mounting points for the bucket seat adjustment rails. If it is a split bench then the buckets would be a direct bolt in. On the 03's & 04's I believe they have airbags in the seats. Make sure you follow the airbag removal instructions, and that the plugs are the same. If you don't follow the instructions for the airbags you could trigger the impact safety system in the computer shutting off power to the fuel pump until a dealership resets your ecu. Good luck.
