IF YOU BROKE UP WITH HIM- Most likely you can apologize and make up. But don't take it for granted this time.
IF HE BROKE UP WITH YOU- There was probably a reason- you should know it by now. Try and fix that reason and drop hints to see if he still likes you.
IF IT WAS MUTUALLY AGREED- Your most likely screwed.
