Another possibility, depending on the length of time between starting and dying which is usually a few minutes, is that your piston rings and/or top end is bad. Basically what happens is as your bike heats up (on a two stroke this can occur pretty quickly), the metal in your head expands causing a loss of pressure which in turn causes your motorcycle to die. Check the compression as well as the potential issues mentioned above.
