Being in a love relationship is more than just being friends. It should not seem like that for either of you. You shouldn't feel the same things you do with a friend with your boyfriend. Maybe he was just saying that to make you feel better. It is not your fault. There is someone out there for everyone, it may or may not be him though. If it is him he should soon realize the error of his ways. Don't fixate or cling to him too much. Give him space. It will be good for the both of you.
