LOOK AT THE TOP OF THE BATTERY. ROTATE IT UNTIL THE WRITING IS RIGHT SIDE UP (NOT UPSIDE DOWN) THE POSITIVE POST IS THE ONE ON THE RIGHT.
The negative cable will lead to the engine block.
