You need to take your dog in to see a Veterinarian immediately. The white gums tell you that your dog is in shock or losing blood somewhere in his or her body. Get to the VET!
I'm no veterinarian, but it sounds like your cat may have feline leukemia. You need to get her to the vet to test it.
You can't without doing major damage to your body (and any weight lost will be more than regained quite quickly).
Check back with your dentist to have him refit them. He may be able to trim them more in areas that are too tight or cushion them if you have lost alot of weight and they are too loose. If your gums are too irritated, do not use them until they heal and then go to the dentist.
