Yes of course!!! There is nothing bad about that unless of course the male dog shows aggression toward her. If the male dog gets along with the female there should be nothing wrong with it unless the male has a decease because it can easily be passed to her pups (even if they are still in her belly).
but sometimes she can be angry at the male dog and starts to bite that's why you sometimes have to becareful with him and her
