sounds like possibly a blown fuse. a bad fuse can cause that problem.check your fuse panel. for the acessories. and see if there is a fuse listed as a/c .if so take the fuse out. and check to see if it is blown. if it is. you can most likely get a replacement fuse. from a local auto parts store.

If the squeeling is coming from the tires, then the problem is most likely a misaligned front end. If the squealing is coming from the engine, then the problem would be in the power steering system.

There is a TSB from Chrysler concerning this. Take the car to a dealer and have them do a update/reflash of the vehicle compter. This should correct the problem.
