you need to be more specific. i am going to assume you want to know in what position is the ignition switch in lock. usually it is 2 positions back from "run" but it is in whichever position the key comes out of the ignition.
try turning steering wheel back and forth while turning key to off position or make sure the transmission is in park (if its an automatic transmission)
under the intake manifold. Only way to it is on the back side of motor. You will need a long/thin 10m.m. socket to get it off.
make sure that the gear selector is in the park position, if it is try turning the key to the on position, put the selector in drive then back into park. try removiing the key, you could also try moving the steering wheel left and or right while trying to remove the key

Sometimes you have to shimmy the steering wheel back and forth while trying to put the ignition to lock position. Many vehicles do this.

Open the driver side door. Turn the ignition switch to the 'auxiliary' position, then turn the ignition switch to the 'ON' position and back to the 'auxiliary' position four times. *This must be done fairly quickly. If you have done it correctly, you will hear a chime. Turn the ignition switch to 'OFF' position. Remove the key from the ignition. To program the transmitter, press any key within ten seconds. **If it worked, you should hear another chime. Close the door.
To remove a stuck CD out of a CRV Honda stereo a person can try turning the ignition to the accessory position. Next hold down the eject button for a few minutes, release the button and press it again. Another option is to find the fuse for the CD player and remove it. Leave out for 10 minutes than put back in.
