Well the blood should usually come up as a browny red colour at first, and depending on your body, you may be very light to start off with. However wipe yourself thouroughly otherwise you don't want any stains or odd smells appearing. Also run to wherever your closet period pads/towels are and apply one into your knickers. I recommend not to use a tampon straight away, as your cycle has not maintained a regular cycle yet, and it can be quite painful or uncomfortable first time round. just regularly change your pads every 2-3 hours, if at any time it starts to feel uncomfortable , then change it! xx hope this helps
I'm not sure what kind of "periods" you are talking about (since it is under business and finance section), but if you are talking about menstrual periods, you will just know. If you're not sure, wait another month and if it happens again, then you've started.
Yup...especially if you're sexually active.

You sound young and if this is true your periods may not be regular yet. There also is a possibility that you are pregnant. I would suggest you see a doctor.
