Yes it is good. High AFQT scores usually mean higher GT scores. If your GT is over 110 you are qualified for the more technical jobs if that is what you seek. I would say a majority of the jobs don't require that high a score so it might not matter. The only thing is that job selection is usually limited to what is available at the time. It is difficult to say what you could get now with the econmy being bad because there are many more people competing for positions. Go sit down with a recruiter or military career couselor and see what is available. You could always leave if you don't like what you see. Just make sure you are walking away for something better.
