Take it to a mechanic. If you strip them, you are going to have to have everything rethreaded which is more than the cost you are saving by doing your own tune-up.

I recomend replacing the spark plug wires as well. If replacing them, just remember that the new wires are hooked up the same ways that the old ones came off.
