I just encountered this problem with my 1997 Explorer. If your vehicle is equipped with the center console containing the trip/econ/system check computer, there is a switch inside that can burn out. If you noticed a burnt smell recently, this is the most likely source and it will take out your tail lights, while still showing them "Okay" on the system check. It is approximately a $60 fix.
The license plate lights are not in a separate fuce by it seft. They are the same as your side marker lights. So, check if your side marker lights are working and if they are them is a bad license plate light bulb.
If you have an opener with a single light it will be on the back of the opener. If your opener has two lights it will be on one of the two sides under the light cover. it will be one of four colors white, purple, green, or orange.
If fuse is ok, could be a bad headlight switch
No, the license plate light is wired in with the rear tail lights, not the brake lights.
All motor vehicle lights must be in working condition. Head lights, break lights, tail lights, and even the light above your license plate must have working bulbs. Also if the casing is broken the appropriate colored tape must to put over to illuminate the needed color.
05+ Honda Odyssey license plate lights. Pop out the license plate lights in the rear. There are two of them. Use a very thin flathead screw driver and pop out the sides of the inner clear light assembly. They are on the sides. Once that is done, remove the light bulb and replace with a new bulb. Pop in the clear light assembly cover. Turn on lights to see if the bulb is working and it is is then you're done. Approximately 10-15 minutes total.
If you dash lights are not working check that your parking/brake lights are working also check fuses for cig lighter and interior lights that may help get the dash light working again.

What do you mean fix lights? which lights? Are the lights not working or does it have a broken lens. If the light doesn't work, have you checked the bulb? Is it burnt out? Is the socket in good working condition? Did you use you test light to see if it has power? Is the fuse good?
Check the brake light bulbs, Check the brake light fuse, Check the brake light switch, In that order.
