Pay a visit to your doctor--you don't want to be casual about anything to do with your eyes. In the meantime, avoid wearing makeup (in fact--throw your eye makeup away since it is either old, contaminated or you may be allergic to it) and do not touch your eyes without washing your hands first.
Could be excema, an infection of the eyelashes, really anything. If you wear make up throw away your mascara and things that have touched your eyes. Dont share makeup with anyone. EVer. You could try using regular unflavored chapstick. I use that on dry patches and it works very well. A dr visit couldn't hurt either. Good luck. ;)
