As GMC's most popular truck, the GMC Sierra is a full-size pickup truck that is very similar in size and styling to the Chevrolet Silverado. The Sierra was first introduced in 1988, and it is still in production today. For those who want a smaller GMC truck, General Motors introduced the GMC Canyon in 2004, and it is also still in production today. The Canyon is a mid-size pickup truck that is comparable to the Chevrolet Colorado, and it is a popular choice for those who want the convenience of a pickup truck without the high gas mileage.

In addition to these pickup trucks, GMC offers four sports utility vehicles. The GMC Yukon is a popular model, along with the GMC Yukon XL, which replaced the GMC Suburban in 1999. GMC also offers the Acadia and the Terrain.
