However, studies have shown that the "cons" outweigh the benefits. Diet soda has NutraSweet (Aspartame), which is a known neurotoxin (excitotoxin).

It also causes a reaction that results in appetite increase.

So, "diet" drinks are actually less healthy for you than regular, sugar-containing drinks.
