As a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Gateway Area chapter serves the eastern half of Missouri and the southern third of Illinois. Gateway provides services to more than 6,800 people living with MS in the area. The National Society funds research, advocates change, provides professional education and provides programs and services to help people suffering with MS and their families.
Announce Media served as a sponsor of the annual Mud Run. Part bootcamp, part 5K run and part obstacle course this fundraiser is a unique way to raise money and support the National MS Society. The race has two divisions: competitive and non-competitive. In the competitive division you run in teams of 5 members through a 5 mile mud filled obstacle course and each obstacle must be attempted at least three times. All members of the team must cross the finish line together. Non-competitive has two course options (5 miles or the 5K) and each obstacle only needs to be attempted once. No requirements on team sizes in this division.
Mud and Snow
AT = all terrain. MS = mud and snow. The MS tires should be more aggressive.
Donating to the MS Society can help people suffering from MS by researching MS and finding treatments for the disease. The MS Society tries to stop the progression of the disease and restore function in the body.
